Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. The app works without one, and your lists stay on your phone. An account becomes necessary to share a list with your household and to find your lists on more than one device.

How do I get my lists on a new phone?

Install Mirilio and sign in with the same account: the lists stored with your account — your own and the shared lists you are a member of — are downloaded automatically. A list created on the old phone while you were signed out is stored with your account only the next time you sign in on that phone.

What happens if I sign out?

Your lists are removed from this phone. Your aisle order and the aisles you picked for your items stay on it.

If some changes have not been sent yet, the app warns you first: "Cancel" gives you time to send them, "Sign out anyway" loses them.

Your lists stay stored with your account, and you remain a member of shared lists. They come back when you sign in again, here or on another phone, with their last 4 shops, so "My usuals" comes back too.

How do I share a list?

Open the list, open sharing, and send the generated invitation link to the person concerned. Careful: that link is a key — anyone who obtains it can join the list. You can revoke it at any time from the same screen.

What do other members of my household see?

Your first name, plus the items you added and the ones you ticked off. They do not see your email address or your other lists. The detail is in the privacy policy.

My invitation no longer works

An invitation link expires after 30 days. Ask whoever invited you for a new link.

How do I get my data back?

Settings › "Download my data (portability)". The app produces a JSON file you can keep or move elsewhere. It contains the lists you own; for data you entered into a list you joined, write to us.

How do I delete my account?

Settings › "Delete my account". You need an internet connection. You also need to have signed in recently: if not, the app asks you to sign in again, to confirm it is you.

No longer have the app? Write to contact@mirilio.com from your account's email address and we will delete it.

Deletion is immediate and final: it cannot be undone.

Lists you share stay with the other members. Each shared list you owned is automatically handed to another member, who becomes its owner and can rename, delete or re-share it. Your name is removed, the list is not destroyed, and the household keeps control of it.

Everything else is deleted, including on this phone. Your aisle order and the aisles you picked for your items stay on it. What we erase, and the one thing we keep — your subscription records, for tax reasons — are described in section 5 of the privacy policy.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Cancellation happens in your store, not in the app:

You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. For a refund, see section 6 of the terms.

I paid but Premium is not active

Open Settings and use restore purchases, signed in with the same store account you bought with. If the problem persists, write to us and attach your receipt.

I did not receive a notification

Check that notifications are allowed for Mirilio in your phone's settings, that the list is being followed in the app, and that the send time does not fall inside your quiet hours.

Does deleting the app erase my data?

No. Uninstalling does not delete your account or your synced lists. To erase everything, delete your account before uninstalling.
